Connection settings - Sovara

Hosted connections

Sign in with your Sovara account, choose your organization, and authorize projects. For clients that ask for connection details:

Client ID and client secret	Leave empty.

If your administrator provides an organization-specific MCP URL, use that address. Manage access in Sovara connections.

Local connections

Install Sovara Desktop and the Sovara CLI, then sign in and select your local connection. The Sovara local plugin launches the connection automatically. Keep Sovara Desktop open while using it. Other local MCP clients can be configured with command sovara and argument mcp. The client starts the command for you.

Retrieval models

An administrator configures and verifies models in Sovara’s organization settings. Search, retrieval, analysis, reruns, and generated reviews use these models and can consume model usage.
